Terry Rudolph
ASLA Principle/Landscape Designer
Terry started Alternative Land Design in 1997 to pursue his own values and design ideals in landscape architecture. He holds a bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture from the University of Georgia in Athens, and is a registered landscape architect.
Terry has over thirty years of experience as a landscape designer, twenty three of which are here in Colorado. He has traveled to over 30 countries on 5 continents exploring historic places and landscapes and experiencing different cultures and world perspectives.
Terry holds a certificate in Horticultural Therapy Studies. He is an avid organic gardener with a large herb, flower and vegetable garden at his home in Park Hill. He completed Denver Urban Garden’s Master Composting Class and has volunteered with them instructing composting classes and seminars.
Terry has been an instructor for residential landscape design classes at various Denver Community Schools, and volunteered as a member of the Accessibility Advisory Committee and as a sensory garden guide for the Denver Botanic Gardens. He has had a leadership role in the Front Range Sustainable Landscaping Coalition when it was active.
